Hycosan Extra has been formulated with 0.2% hyaluronic acid (twice the concentration of Hycosan). This increase in strength gives a solution which is four times more viscous than Hycosan but still causes minimal blurring of vision. This increase in viscosity allows a subsequent increast in duration of action, making Hycosan Extra ideal for more severe cases of dry eye.
As with the rest of the Hycosan range, each preservative-free bottle lasts for 6 months after opening. Its unique COMOD bottle supplies one drop per click, making it easy to hear when a drop has been dispensed. They are safe to use with all types of contact lenses, so you do not need to remove your lenses before applying the drops.
